A creation of modern tropical home combining Japanese’s earthy moods with Scandinavian aestheticism. Client’s appreciation towards the natural colours set up the perfect design direction for a continued harmonious mixture between simplified aesthetic with raw material tones. Sophisticated design inputs are incorporated into the functionality of kitchens and dining spaces creating the entrance highlight of the house. Vertical linings approach created a subtle division between spaces from dining hall towards wet kitchen; whilst extending the design element towards the similar separation of area between bedroom and wardrobe spaces. The lining brings an extra dimension towards textural balance that worked complimentary well with the rawness of material’s colour palette.
