Simply Joy

Drawing inspiration from Scandinavian style, a palette primarily defined by white and soft beiges was applied to compliment the concept. Fulfilling the couple’s request of a semi-open kitchen, the bi-fold window over the countertop allows them to open during prepping / serving and close during cooking. At the same time, an open plan feels providing continuity and interrupted view from kitchen to the living area. The eating space takes on different paintwork in scandi palette making it an interesting backdrop for their dining table. The interior balances the functionality and design aesthetics to create a better living environment for the couple.
